The Banbury Town Hall can provide romantic ceremonies to lavish receptions.

 

We will ensure that every moment of your big day is a memorable one.  As well as hosting receptions we can also arrange for you to hold your ceremony within the Town Hall as we have a licence to conduct services in any of the public rooms. Our rooms offer the perfect setting for your Wedding or Civil Partnership from intimate gatherings to lavish receptions in the timeless glamour of the grand main hall.

 

Our events managers are on hand to organise the day and can advise on every detail including bespoke lighting.

 

Banbury Town Hall is a fine Victorian, Gothic, Grade II listed building.  With its central location it makes the perfect ceremony venue. A magnificent setting for your wedding or civil partnership.

 

With 3 rooms licensed we can cater for the most intimate ceremony to the more lavish reception.

Decrease of Standard Charges

The charges refer to business or commercial use; a 50% discount is available if you are able to satisfy any of the following criteria:

 

          A A local organisation operating within the town of Banbury, properly constituted and of benefit to the town (e.g. Social, Welfare, Cultural, Sporting,

Community and Artistic). The organisation must be run on a proper financial basis and no individual member, or members, are making personal gain from

the activities of the organisation.

         B A Registered Charity operating within the town of Banbury for fundraising or public awareness.

          C A publicly funded body, e.g. local authority, police authority, health authority.

 

Multiple Bookings

For Commercial Hirers who wish to complete a series of hire bookings there is a discount which can be applied:

          6 bookings within 12 months qualifies for a 20% discount

          12 bookings within 12 months qualifies for a 25% discount

 

Each booking is payable 14 days prior to the hire date. Commercial hirers are required to sign an undertaking that should the series not be completed within 12 months, the hirer would agree to pay the discount received to date.

 

Please note: Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts available.

 

Booking Fees

Booking fees are 25% of the total charge and the balance is payable at least 14 days prior to the date of the event.

 

Overnight Charge

An overnight charge is levied to compensate for loss of income where the hirer’s equipment, etc is not removed at the end of the day. This will normally be charged where the hire period extends over more than one day or the room is required for setting up the night before.

 

The Town Hall is accessible with a ramp at the side of the building, lift and toilet facilities.
